LDE UTC Governance Information
The London Design & Engineering UTC Trust, which runs the college, is a company limited by guarantee and an exempt charity. The Trust is registered in England under Company Number: 08283657 and with a Registered Office Address of: 15 University Way, London, England, E16 2RD.
The Board of Directors (i.e. the Governing Body) is the strategic leader of the UTC Trust and has a vital role to play in making sure every learner gets the best possible education. The Board of Directors has three core strategic functions:
1. Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction;
2. Holding the Principal to account for the educational performance of the UTC and its learners, and the performance management of staff; and
3. Overseeing the financial performance of the UTC and making sure its money is well spent.
