Friends of LDE - Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

Here at the LDE UTC, we strive to work very closely with all parents/carers in order to provide the best possible outcomes for all of our learners.

The primary role of our PTA called “Friends of LDE” is to bring about a dialogue and an understanding between parents/carers and the College, at which their child or children are taught, through an informal environment with the purpose of uniting both.

Furthermore, the role of Friends of LDE is to strengthen links between teachers, parents/carers, learners and the local community through social activities and by raising funds for the College facilities.

The Friends of LDE will:

• Engage in activities that support the college and advance the education of the learners attending it
• Will meet half-termly to arrange events that will in turn impact the education of all learners attending LDE UTC.
